The body and cylinder head of the diesel generator set used in Yuchai Ship are made of alloy cast iron, which has a high degree of strengthening. It adopts an integral crankshaft, high-pressure forging, and high-frequency quenching of the circumference and corners, which improves fatigue strength and wear resistance. The integral forged steel crankshaft, high-quality alloy cast iron cylinder head, and body blank are all imported parts, which have small volume, light weight, low vibration, low noise, high reliability, and a major overhaul period of more than 12000 hours.
